With the START line at the WKU Clinical Education Complex (CEC), the course follows the perimeter of WKU’s main campus, before heading down the well shaded Chestnut Street. From there the competitors will get a unique perspective of the Historic Downtown, including two passes by Fountain Square Park. Then participants will pass the prestigious Warren County Justice Center and its fountain, before running up Kentucky Street to cross the FINISH line back at the CEC.

The course is similar enough to the 10k Classic to make it a great practice race for training, but different enough to offer perspectives not experienced any other way.

There will be water stations at miles #1 and # 3

NOTE: Skates, strollers, etc are prohibited from the 8k events
